Stock does not expire suddenly. It expires slowly, in the back of a shelf, and then all at once on the day you count it.
Two numbers per item
Each item in ZingBills can carry an expiry date, a number of days before that date, and a discount percentage. Once the item is inside that window, the discount becomes active on its own โ no reminder to act on, no list to work through.
You see it while selling
The billing grid shows the active discount as a badge on the item tile itself, and the discount is already applied when it goes into the bill. The decision to move ageing stock stops being a separate weekly chore and becomes part of the sale that was happening anyway.
The Expiry Alert report still gives you the full near-expiry list when you want to plan ahead.
